Established in 1978 our business of Antiquarian and Second Hand Books, Maps and Prints includes a wide variety of subjects, with a special emphasis on British Topography especially the counties of Cornwall and Devon, Early Printed pre-1700 English Books, History of Sciences particularly early Geology and Mining. We also hold relatively large stocks of books on Travel, Natural History, Bindings, Children's Illustrated, Early Printed Books, etc.

Trading from private premises, callers are welcome by appointment. Located in central Cornwall 6 miles west of Bodmin, and within minutes of the new A30 dual carriageway. Our stock can be easily viewed in a large separate bookstore.

In our bookshop at Moretonhampstead, on the western edge of Dartmoor there is an emphasis on West Country topography and all its aspects including maps and original artwork, with a good selection of antiquarian books on most other subjects. We issue approximately three catalogues a year, and exhibit at a number of bookfairs throughout the West Country, such as Penzance, Cothele House, Tavistock. In June we also exhibit at the annual International Novotel Bookfair during London bookfair week.

We are members of the Provincial Book Fairs Association ( PBFA ), one of the main trade bodies for antiquarian booksellers, with over 700 members Worldwide, as members we pledge to adhere to the rules and standards of this professional trade association.
